El 27 y 28 de Marzo de 2025 el Instituto Morgenstern realizó el 4º foro internacional ISMISS de cirugía endoscópica y mínimamente invasiva de columna en el Centro Médico Teknon de Barcelona. A este evento:

– Acudieron 92 cirujanos de columna de 25 países diferentes de todo el mundo.

– Se realizaron 50 ponencias por expertos del más alto nivel mundial

– Hubo una exposición industrial/comercial por compañías internacionales, incluyendo un simulador de cirugía

– Se realizó un taller práctico de cadáveres por instructores expertos, entre los que se incluye el Dr. Morgenstern, en el laboratorio más moderno de la ciudad

El foro presidido por el Dr. Morgenstern fue un éxito sin precedentes y situó al Instituto Morgenstern como epicentro de la cirugía de columna de todo el mundo durante 2 días. La asistencia masiva de participantes y ponentes del más alto nivel internacional realza una vez más el liderazgo internacional y prestigio en cirugía de columna del Instituto Morgenstern.

El Dr. Morgenstern acudió al prestigioso congreso internacional 7th ISMISS meeting en Inuyama (Nagoya) Japón como ponente invitado para presentar su novedosa técnica de cirugía de fusión endoscópica cervical y sus resultados clínicos con esta técnica.  El Dr. Morgenstern también fue moderador de una sesión sobre cirugía endoscópica compleja de columna. A este congreso acuden los mejores cirujanos endoscópicos de columna del mundo (USA, México, Alemania, Suiza, etc.) y predominantemente de Asia (Corea, Japón, Taiwan, India, etc.) dónde la cirugía endoscópica de columna es muy popular.

El Dr. Morgenstern es un experto internacional en el campo de la cirugía endoscópica y mínimamente invasiva de columna y es invitado regularmente a congresos y conferencias médicas en todo el mundo para exponer sus técnicas quirúrgicas y experiencia clínica en este campo.

Dr. Morgenstern held a lecture on March 8th 2025 on endoscopic spine surgery as an invited guest lecturer by the  Society on endoscopic and minimally-invasive spine surgery society of Argentina (ARMISS) . In this lecture, Dr. Morgenstern to more than 200 expert surgeons from the Americas (Mexico, Brazil, Perú, Argentina, Colombia, Chile, etc.) differnt complex cases he succesfully solved with endoscopic spine surgery. The feedback was excellent and the discussion after the talk by the co-Chairmen was very lively and enriching for the audience.

El Instituto Morgenstern organiza para los dias 27 y 28 de Marzo de 2025 uno de las mayores congresos internacionales en cirugía endoscópica y de columna en Barcelona. En el marco de la prestigiosa sociedad científica ISMISS, de la cual el Dr. Morgenstern es el representate nacional para España, el Instituto Morgenstern ha convocado a los mayores expertos internacionales en cirugía endoscópica y mínimamente invasiva de columna de más de 20 países de todo el mundo (USA, Corea, Japón, Alemania, Suiza, Suecia, etc.) para acudir a Barcelona a presentar los últimos avances en cirugía de columna.

Dr. Morgenstern was the head tecahing faculty hands-on workshop on cadaver specimens for endoscopic spine surgery in Frankfurt, Germany. Particpants were senior and experienced surgeons from half a dozen european countries  (Germany, Italy, Greece, Hungary, etc.) that wanted to learn and improve their skills in endoscopic surgery Dr. Morgenstern is an internationally and globally renowned surgeon and instructor in endoscopic spine surgery and is invited regularly over the world to teach and instruct on endoscopic spine surgery.

Dr. Morgenstern has been recognized as honorary vanguard member by the american “international Spinal Endoscopy Research Foundation” based in the U.S.A.

Recently, two clinical studies on this endoscopic fusion technique have been published in the Global Spine Journal, a high-impact international journal that belongs to the AO Spine, one of the leading societies in spine surgery in the world. Dr. Morgenstern has developed and published a novel surgical technique for endoscopic fusion surgery of the cervical spine. This innovative endoscopic surgery allows the treatment of complex conditions of the cervical spine like severe stenosis and cervical mielopathy with the endoscopic and ultra-minimally invasive placement of an implant in a cervical disk. This allows early patient walking after surgery in just a few hours after surgery and hospital discharge in less than 24 hours.

This novel technique has been published in NEUROSPINE, one of the most renowned journals in spine surgery and the second journal world-wide in regard to impact factor in the field of spine surgery.

Dr. Morgenstern was invited as an expert faculty to teach a hands-on cadaveric workshop on endoscopic spine surgery in Frankfurt, Germany. Partiicpants were seniora and experienced spine surgeons from Germany that wanted to acquire experience in endoscopic spine surgery. Dr. Morgenstern is a renowned international expert in endoscopic spine surgery and is regularly invited to teach and share his clinical experience in spine surgery in course, workshops and conferences all over the world.

Dr. Morgenstern was invited as a speaker and session moderadotor on complex spine surgery  for the national conference SUMMIT Spain 2024 organized by the swiss company SpineArt SA in Córdoba, Spain. During his lecture, Dr. Morgenstern shared his experience solving complex spine deformity cases and moderated the session of a group of national experts.
