Dr. Morgenstern has developed a novel lumbar endoscopic fusion surgery that allows the placement of an interbody cage in the lumbar spine  through a skin of only 1 to 2 cm length.  The surgical instruments have been designed and produced according to Dr. Morgenstern’s instructions by two german partner companies that are specialized in the production and development of endoscopic surgery and highest quality titanium interbody implants.

Dr. Morgenstern is an internationally renowned faculty, speaker and instructer that has been educating surgeons world wide in his endoscopic fusion technique. Additionally, Dr. Morgenstern has a strong background in engineering, allowing him to get into the technical intricacies of  surgical instrumentation design and production. To facilitate educating other surgeons in the endoscopic fusion technique, an educational video has been recorded based on a real patient operated by Dr. MOrgenstenr at the  Morgenstern Institute of Spine.

Dr. Morgenstern presented a clinical paper of the Morgenstern Institute of Spine at the biggest international meeting on spien surgery in the world. The annual meeting of the North-American Spine Society (NASS) 2024 was held in Chicago, USA this year and is considered the most important meeting for spine surgery in the world. Only selected papers are accepted to be included in this meeting after a very selective review process.

Dr. Morgenstern is an internationally renowned expert in spine surgery and was given, once again, the privilege to present his results at an annual meeting of NASS.

Dr. Morgenstern was a speaker at the Global Spine Congress in Bangkok, Thailand. The Global Spine Congress is an international conference on spine surgery organized by the renowned organization AO Spine where many of the most experienced and renowned spine surgeons world-wide gather to exchange and discuss their experience, ideas and results.

Dr. Morgenstern presented 4 different topics in front of an international audience of experienced spine surgeons from all over the world.The feedback by the audience was overwhelming and Dr. Morgenstern had a vivid exchange and discussion during and after he presented his work at each session.

These kind of conferences are highly selective and only about a 10% of all submitted papers are accepted for presentation. The fact that Dr. Morgenstern presented a total of 4 papers underlines the excellent work and results that are being obtained at the Morgenstern Institute of Spine in Barcelona, Spain.

Dr. Morgenstern was invited as a faculty to the renowned NSpine cadaveric and live-tissue workshop at the IRCAD in Strasbourg, France. NSpine’s course is one of the most prestigious spine surgery international courses. Participants are spine surgeons coming from more than 30 countries to learn from some of the best faculty and experienced spine surgeons in the world. Most of the course’s time is spent in the lab to practice spine surgery with cadavers and uniquely for this course, live tissue specimens.

Dr. Morgenstern was invited as expert teaching faculty to an international hands-on workshop on endoscopic spine surgery in Frankfurt, Germany. Participants  were experienced surgeons form 17 different countries, incuding the USA, France, germany, Italy, Portugal and even Mauricius islands to learn basic and advanced techniques in endoscopic spine surgery in a theory sessions and also a hands-on practical cadaver session.

Dr. Morgenstern will participated as an invited speaker in an international webinar on endoscopic spine surgery organized by the renowned International Society for the Advancement of Spine Surgery (ISASS) based in the U.S.A.

Dr. Morgenstern attended as an invited faculty to an international hands-on cadaver workshop for endscopic spine surgeyr in  Düsseldorf, Germany. Participant surgeons from all over the world, including  Germany, Mexico, Italy, etc. listened to Dr. Morgenstern’s lectures and later his instructions and live practical hands-on demonstrations on cadaver practice.

Dr. Morgenstern was invited as a speaker and session chair to the 16th international MISS / ISMISS Summit in the Aichi Spine Center in Inuyama, Japan. Dr. Morgenstern shared his experience with endoscopic spine surgery to an audience of experienced spine surgeons from all over the world and especially from Asia.

Dr. Morgenstern is a recognized, internationally reputed spine surgeon that is frequently invited to international conferences all over the world to speak and instruct on spine surgery and endoscopic spine surgery.

Dr. Morgenstern was invited to hold a lecture in  an international course on endoscopic spine surgery in Brazil where he shared his clinical experience, insights and advancements on endoscopic fusion surgery. The lectures were held within the scope of a hands-on cadaver workshop on endoscopic spine surgery.

Dr. Morgenstern was invited to hold two lectures at the 18th annual meeting of the German Spine Society in Stuttgart, Germany to share his experience in endoscopic fusion surgery. The german spine surgery meeting is the largest national meeting of its kind in Europe and is attended by more than 1.500 spine surgeons mainl from Germany, Switzerland and Austria.

Dr. Morgenstern shared in his two talks his experience in endoscopic spine surgery and showed some clinical cases that caused quite an impression in the audience and a great discussions with the audience showing a lot of interest after the talks.
